Motoworks Chicago to Central America on a Vespa


 Track the Journey here beginning Summer 2008


The Journey will begin at Chicago's two wheeled mecca Motoworks. The final destination of the trip is undetermined but  will maintain a goal of reaching Central America and maybe even taking a dip into South America. The equipment will be a Vespa GT200 outfitted by the  Motoworks crew, a Carver surfboard rack, and of course surfboard. The Vespa GT200 will be piloted by Motoworks Field Tester Joshua Saxe who is eager to ride this trusty steed all the way to the edge of stupidity and maybe beyond. The route will be mapped, miles recorded, and gas consumption closely logged all on this site. This adventure is brought to you by Motoworks Chicago.

 Motoworks Chicago Field Tester 

Joshua Saxe (AKA LB) has ridden alongside Johnny Moto since the beginning of his two wheeled obsession.  Josh was raised in the sticks of Wisconsin and is currently residing in  San Diego Ca, where he is a surfer, rider of all things two wheeled and special education teacher. Josh is equipped with an arsenal of roadside repair skills including the cigarette butt ignition fix and the rusty strainer sprocket retainer. Obviously he is ready to take on any  challenge.
